Procedural sanctions in public administration

Abstract

The author analyzes the legal nature of the acts of bodies whose function is to ensure the fulfillment of public administration tasks.
These acts although pursuing a common objective, are of a different legal nature. It also allows their categorization. The author distinguishes between precautionary measures, precautionary measures and procedural sanctions.
The aim of the paper is to explain the legal nature, functions of procedural sanctions, their differences and, above all, to remind the principles that should be respected not only by the legislator but also by the public administration authority when interpreting the current regulation and its application.
