The legislation of neccessary defense and extreme emergency in Hungary

Abstract

The article focuses on the description of legislation of Grounds for total or partial exemption from criminal responsibility in Hungary. It describes in particular the legal conditions enshrined in the provisions which criminal law groups under this common name. However, the main emphasis is placed on the two most commonly used grounds incorporated in the Hungarian legislation, namely the necessary defense and extreme emergency.
