Abstract
Information and technical resources represent a group of modern, offensive and guaranteed institutions of significant interference. While at the procedural level their legislation is often subjected to quite sharp criticism, on the other hand, the non-procedural level often remains unnoticed. The conditions for using information and technical means are very similar in many respects, and the purposes and way of using them are similar, with the exception that in the procedural level they lead to the screening of existing criminal offenses, while in the non-procedural level they tend to detect latent crime and to protect the most important interests of the Slovak Republic.
