Abstract

International space law, established in 1957, is challenged by the growth of space debris. Current frameworks provide the basics, but the lack of comprehensive waste guidance poses a serious threat to Earth and space. The research focuses on the analysis of legal frameworks and the effectiveness of the UN in this area, emphasizing the need to adapt international space law to the current challenges of the 21st century.
