Abstract

The European Union and Morocco are important partners, which is also determined by their trade relations through several international agreements. Morocco is part of a decades-long conflict over the contiguous territory of Western Sahara. In the present article, we identify the effects of trade agreements between the European Union and Morocco in relation to the territory of Western Sahara and the scope of these agreements on the goods of trade transactions originating from the disputed territory.
